Dr. Nicole Cardinal

Dr. Nicole Cardinal is a First Nation physician currently practising in her community of Saddle Lake Cree Nation and St. Paul. She shares a common goal with CPSA: to provide safe care and protect all Albertans. She hopes her work on Council will improve or advocate for safe health care for Alberta’s Indigenous peoples.

Mr. Tyler White

Mr. Tyler White is an inspirational and visionary leader with over 20 years of business management experience in the health industry. He has been the Chief Executive Officer with Siksika Health Services in Siksika Nation, Alta. since 1999 and is President of the First Nations Health Consortium. He is a proud second-generation senior manager with Siksika Nation Tribal Administration and was gifted and honored with the Blackfoot name “NaatoyiiPiitawotaan,” meaning Holy Eagle Shield, by Blackfoot Elder Tom Crane Bear. In addition to being a public member of CPSA Council and the co-chair of CPSA’s Indigenous Advisory Circle, he is a member of the Alberta Mental Health and Child Review Panel.
